Cyprus, November 2006 |
On Sunday November 11th, we arrived in Cyprus for a week, for David to give three 3-hour seminars on his latest theoretical developments in mathematical thinking to an audience of 70 graduate students.
On Sunday we shared a welcome meal with Demetra Pitta-Pantazi and her family: her mother and father (Charalambos Pittas, the Mayor of Morphou in exile since the Turkish army took over his town), Demetra’s husband Efthemios and children Christa and Socrates. |
