On November 15, 2005, David and Sue left England for four weeks in Australia and New Zealand, staying with Annette and Geroge Baturo in Brisbane, Thurs 17th Nov to Monday 21st Nov, hosted by Tom Cooper of Queensland University of Technology. From Monday 21st to Saturday 26th, they attended the Delta Conference on Fraser Island, then flew via Brisbane to Auckland to be hosted by Mike Thomas at the University of Auckland, Sunday 27th November to Saturday 3rd December. Next stop was Sydney, Saturday 3rd Dec to Tuesday morning 6th December, hosted by Mike Mitchelmore at MacQuarie University, visiting the Sydney Opera House for the Sleeping Beauty ballet. Tuesday 6th December to Monday 12th December was in Armidale hosted by John and Susan Pegg, visiting the University of New England with a weekend trip to their ‘week-ender’ by the sea at Pindimar. Then back from Sydney on 12th December arriving in England at Birmingham on Tuesday 13th December.
